A simple "like" or "follow" on Blaze Pizza's social media pages sufficed for the day.
A year of solid business at the St. Matthews location was the driving force behind expansion.
"Middletown has a lot of exciting businesses coming out here. We've got a lot of guests that eat at St. Matthews that are from Middletown, so there are a lot of requests to be out here. We just want to be a part of the community," said Rodney Poston, Operating Partner for Blaze Pizza.
Known for its interactive assembly line with toppings galore to choose from, this pizza chain is becoming a hot spot.
Some came from as far as Georgia to get their pizza fix.
"We don't have anything like this out there. It's good! I'll drive back for this. We'll come back again," said Todd Fortner of Kyle, Georgia.
The pizza chain is trail blazing across the country.
All of the Kentucky locations are locally owned, with one on the way in Lexington.
Fast-fired in about three minutes, many are calling it the perfect gift for the people in Middletown.
"My birthday's on the 10th of June but I celebrate all month. So this is another one of my presents right here. I'm going to enjoy it too, all by myself," said Rick Rucker of Louisville.
Blaze Pizza is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
