LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police arrested a burglary suspect after officials say he backed his car into an officer and led police on a chase.

Michael Clemens, 32, was arrested Monday morning on Manslick Road, near Friden Way.

Clemens is a suspect in four burglaries in metro Louisville.

Police tried to stop Clemens and authorities say he sped away after backing his car into the officer, who suffered minor arm injuries.

Authorities say Clemens led police on a chase that lasted about 30 minutes. Clemens hit a tree next to a home and fled, but was caught shortly afterwards by LMPD officers.

Clemens is charged with wanton endangerment, fleeing and evading.
