LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two Breckinridge County parents living "off-the-grid" got their children back last week.

Joseph and Nicole Naugler made national headlines when their 10 children were taken away by Child Protective Services in early May. They live in a 280-foot makeshift shelter in Breckinridge County, Kentucky -- with no electricity or running water.

The couple's lawyer confirms, the Nauglers now have "physical custody of their children"

However, both parents are still facing criminal charges.

Joseph Naugler faces charges for allegedly threatening a neighbor. Nicole Naugler is charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, following a confrontation with police when the children were removed from their home.

Nicole is due back in court Tuesday.
