LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- We now know the identity of the man who died after being hit by a car in southeastern Jefferson County Tuesday evening.

According to LMPD spokeswoman Alicia Smiley it happened around 9:45 p.m. near Bardstown Road and Colonel Hancock Drive.

The victim has been identified as 82-year-old Frank Robinson. He was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple injuries.

Bardstown Road was closed in that area for several hours.

According to Smiley, four people were in the car that hit Robinson, and it appeared the driver had a green light. Smiley says it's unlikely that charges will be filed.
