LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Cincinnati Reds pitcher Tony Cingrani was impressive in his second rehab start for the Louisville Bats Tuesday night. Cingrani pitched three innings, gave up two hits and no runs with a walk and four strikeouts in Louisville’s 3-2 win over Indianapolis at Slugger Field.
Cingrani is recovering from a sore shoulder and could be in the rotation in Cincinnati again soon. Reds manager Bryan Price has also not ruled out having Cingrani in the bullpen if he’s not ready for the rotation.
The Louisville Bats return to Slugger Field Wednesday for game two of their three game stand against Indianapolis. The game is scheduled for a 7:05pm start.
