LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- LMPD homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found in southwest Louisville Wednesday afternoon.

Someone called police after discovering the man's body on Blevins Gap Road near Saw Mill Road around 12:30 p.m. on July 8.

LMPD officials say the victim appeared to have suffered some sort of trauma, but investigators aren't releasing any other details.

The man's identity has not yet been released, and no arrests have been made.
