LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A West Louisville pool has reopened days after it was hit by vandals

The Algonquin Park pool had major damage after the Fourth of July. Fireworks and broken glass were found in the pool, and crews spent several days cleaning it out.

Someone also set nearby playground equipment on fire.

Cleanup work went more quickly than expected -- and the pool has now reopened days ahead of schedule.

Anyone with information on the vandalism should call the police tipline at 574-LMPD.
