LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - New Orleans and Memphis-style blues are taking over Louisville this weekend.

The city's Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival at Water Tower Park kicked off Friday and ends Sunday night.

You can hear live blues music, including covers from BB King, Howlin' Wolf and Bob Dylan.

Attendees can also sink their teeth into the region's best BBQ ribs, chicken and pulled pork, and sample dozens of craft beers from across the state.

"Everybody that comes here, they come here for the same reason - have a lot of fun, get together, enjoy the food, the music and just relax," Debra McFarland said.

The festival runs from 1-7 p.m. Sunday.

The Carl Weathersby Blues Band closes out the night hitting the stage at 9:30 p.m.
