Man accused of leaving feces, syringes at Clark Co. detective's house arrested by Jeffersonville Police

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Jeffersonville Police arrested a man accused of leaving human feces, razor blades, syringes and a burned American flag at the home of a Clark County detective and a Jeffersonville Police officer July 4.

According to Corporal Scottie Maples, Jeffersonville Police arrested Darren Megenity Monday on charges of criminal mischief, battery by bodily waste and criminal recklessness.

Maples said the man approached a family party he was having on the Fourth of July and burned an American flag. He said Sunday morning he found the feces, syringes and razor blades on his front porch.

Jeffersonville Police arrested Megenity Monday afternoon about 1:30 p.m. on an outstanding warrant.
