Section of Frankfort Avenue closed after tree falls on railroad tracks
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Frankfort Avenue is closed near Sacred Heart Lane in Crescent Hill after a tree fell over the railroad tracks Tuesday night.
An LG&E spokesman says wind from tonight's storm brought a tree down, which then brought three telephone poles down.
The incident is affecting 390 customers, but the power may not be restored for all of them until early Wednesday morning.
LG&E added that setting new poles is a longer process, but that it all should be done before the morning rush hour.
