LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville family was killed in a fiery car crash police say was caused by an intoxicated driver.

It happened July 11 on Interstate-80 in New Jersey. Family members say Briana Anderson; her fiance, Russell Hitt; and their baby daughter, Charlotte, were killed on their way back from a family trip to New York. Briana was showing them where her family originally lived.

They say Briana was 20 weeks pregnant, but they didn’t find out until after the crash.

Police say 22-year-old Bhavuk Uppal rear-ended their car in a construction zone, causing it to crash into another and catch fire.

Uppal is charged with death by auto, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while intoxicated, among other charges.

Police say he was driving on a suspended license and, according to NJ.com, Uppal has had 19 traffic violation in the past, including speeding, reckless driving, unsafe driving, and using fake license plates. He has also been arrested six times since 2009.

Two people in another car were also injured in the crash.

On Monday a judge increased Uppal's bail from $300,000 to $750,000 full cash.

Visitation for the family is July 17 at 5 p.m. at Crestwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held the following day at 10 a.m.
