LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Having your own bed is something a lot of us take for granted. But not everyone has that luxury.

That's why Ashley Furniture Homestore partnered with the Louisville Bats to host a "Hope to Dream" event at Louisville Slugger Field on Saturday morning.

They gave away 50 bed sets to children who don't have beds of their own.

The sets included a twin mattress, pillow, sheets and a comforter.

A portion of all mattresses sold at Ashley Furniture goes toward supporting the "Hope to Dream" program.

"We believe that if we serve people and life moments like today, that that's what God put us on this earth to do is serve people ... the furniture just comes along for the ride," an Ashley Furniture representative said.

Bats players and Buddy Bat were there as well.

Families also had breakfast, got a tour of Slugger Field and were given free gift bags.
