LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Parishoners of a Clarksville church say they are stronger than ever after their place of worship was vandalized.

Emmaus Road Church was all cleaned up in time for service on Sunday.

Pastor Grant Belles says church walls were spray painted with satanic symbols and vulgar writings.

He adds that it's a reminder of what they are up against, but also that no one is perfect and everyone deserves forgiveness.

"Someday, here's my dream ... to hug them and say we forgave you right after we found out," Pastor Grant Belles said. "We just really want to see you in the kingdom as part of the body of christ."

In addition to the spray paint, teenagers are also suspected of stealing a guitar, laptop and security system.

Pastor Belles says if those responsible are caught, he would love for a judge to sentence them to six months of attending church service every Sunday.
