LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two women walked into the Parent Teacher Store Wednesday and walked out with a bunch of elementary level writing tablets, according to Louisville Metro Police.

The owner of the store, Kim Kopatz, posted a video of the women shoplifting on her Facebook page -- hoping her fans would keep a lookout for the tablets on the after market.

"During this busy back to school season everyone is rushing to buy writing tablets that are on their supply lists, today 2 adult females and one minor child came into my small business, The Parent-Teacher Store & Toys Too, and shoplifted from me," Kopatz wrote on Facebook.

Kopatz says the tablets are specially manufactured for her store and can't be purchased anywhere else, so if you see them for sale somewhere else -- she's asking you to let her know.

"The only thing they stole were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade writing tablets. I have these manufactured especially for my store, they are called "Louisville Tablets" and have our logo on them," she explained.

Kopatz said she has filed a police report with LMPD, who confirmed the incident. If you have nay information about the women int he surveillance video, you are asked to call police at 574-LMPD.
