Southern Ind. HIV outbreak peaks
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The HIV outbreak in southern Indiana has peaked.
A public health official says there are very few new cases in Scott County.
As many as 22 new cases were diagnosed weekly in May. There are currently 175 cases.
Health officials say drug use is the root of the outbreak.
