LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The YMCA of Greater Louisville has set the Guinness World Record for "most people hopping on one leg simultaneously," according to a news release.

The record was set on Sunday, April 26, with 674 people at Slugger Field during the YMCA's 9th annual Healthy Kids Day celebration. Guinness officially confirmed the record this month, according to the release.

"Setting this record was a feat of coordination," said YMCA CEO Steve Tarver. "I applaud our staff, our auditing firm and especially all the children [who] participated to make this happen. The record is really theirs. It was a tremendously good time, as well as a great way to promote fitness for all."

Healthy Kids Day was sponsored by Humana, the Metro Louisville Healthy Hometown program, DMLO and Slugger Field, according to the release.
