Clark County Coroner releases autopsy results for Joe Huber, III
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Clark County Coroner Terry Conway has released the autopsy results for Joe Huber, III.
On Tuesday, Conway released a statement saying, "An autopsy was performed on Joseph H. Huber III this morning, by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Kentucky, located in Louisville. The preliminary cause(s) of death, for Mr. Huber has been listed as traumatic asphyxiation, and drowning. These results are preliminary, and pending the results of toxicological testing, which is standard procedure."
Officials with the Clark County Sheriff's Department said Huber died after a lawnmower he was riding on slid into a pond on his personal property Monday morning.
A 911 call came in around 10:30 a.m. Monday.
A neighbor alerted police after finding his lawnmower in the pond and later Huber underneath it and pulled him out. The Clark County Coroner's Office pronounced the 60-year-old dead.
The Sheriff's Department ruled Huber's death as accidental.
