Shively police arrest man for allegedly firing shots from vehicle on Dixie Hwy.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is in trouble with the law after police say he fired a gun from a moving vehicle.

According to the arrest report, it happened at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 4000 block of Dixie Hwy. That's where police were sent after receiving reports about shots being fired from a yellow Volkswagen Beetle.

When Shively police officers stopped the car, they ordered Dinh Truong and two other men out of the car. During questioning, all three men admitted that Truong had shot a gun into the air a total of six times, according to the arrest report.

Truong was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment. His bond was set at $5,000.
