American Pharoah wins Haskell Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - In his first race since winning the Triple Crown in June, American Pharoah won the Haskell Invitational on Sunday at Monmouth Park in New Jersey.

Pharoah won the $1.75 million Grade 1 stakes race with a time of 1:47:80 for a mile and a fifth.

It was American Pharoah's eighth consecutive win.

Keen Ice finished second and Upstart finished third.
