LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Derby Museum honors Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.

Museum officials unveiled a banner in the center of the Great Hall to commemorate the 12th Triple Crown Champion. This is the first time since the museum opened in 1985 that it has honored a current champ.

The owner's silks from Zayat Stables will hang alongside the colors from 11 other Triple Crown Winners.
