LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Fire crews are at the scene of a fire in the 2200 block of Standard Avenue, near South 23rd Street, according to a MetroSafe dispatcher.

Officials say a call about the fire came in at 1:51 p.m. Tuesday.

Louisville Metro Fire officials have responded to the scene and have requested an extra engine, according to an emergency dispatcher.

Authorities say the fire started on the second floor. The fire is being called suspicious because the building was abandoned and had no utilities.

There is no word on if there are any injuries.
