Authorities identify man shot by police Wednesday night

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has identified a man who was shot by police Wednesday night.

According to Deputy Coroner Eddie Robinson, the man was 18-year-old Tyler Alexander Dattilo, a white male with an ID listing him as a resident of Crestview, Florida.

According to Robinson, Dattilo was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:20 p.m. of multiple gunshot wounds.

No family has been located or notified, according to Robinson. If anyone has any info on next-of-kin for Dattilo, they are asked to contact Robinson at (502) 574-0140.

No funeral arrangements have been made at this time.

Police Chief Steve Conrad says Dattilo was shot by two officers outside the Bader’s Food Mart at the corner of First and Jefferson Wednesday night.
