AT&T apologizes for service outage earlier this week
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two days after thousands in the area lost service, AT&T says it is sorry.
Customers received a text message today apologizing for any inconvenience experienced on Tuesday when service was disrupted.
Cell phone users in five states including Kentucky and Indiana were affected. AT&T customers were told a fiber cable was accidentally cut along the Kentucky-Tennessee state line - causing the problem.
Service was fully restored Tuesday night.
