LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Hardin County man is accused of using social media to persuade children to send him nude photos.

Kentucky State Police in Elizabethtown arrested 22-year-old Gregory Wingfield Aug. 6 after serving a search warrant following an undercover investigation.

Investigators say Wingfield was contacting minors on a popular social networking site, befriending them and asking for nude images.

Police seized computer equipment from his home and turned it over to KSP's forensic lab for further examination.

Wingfield is charged with three counts of distribution of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor and three counts of promoting a minor under 16 in a sex performance.

Wingfield is being held in the Hardin County jail on a $10,000 bond.
