LACETT | Bats held to one hit in blowout loss

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – The Louisville Bats were held to one hit in an ugly 9-0 loss at Durham Sunday afternoon.

The Bats went hitless through game’s first five innings. Kristopher Negron saved the Bats from getting no-hit in the 6th with a single off Everett Teaford.

Brandon Finnegan suffered his first loss with the Bats. He went three and two-third innings, giving up six hits, and seven earned runs.

Blake Snell (2-2) picked up the win for Durham, who outscored Louisville 20-4 in the three game series.

The Bats have Monday off.  They open up a three game series at Slugger Field with Columbus Tuesday.
