LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Radcliff Police have arrested a man on attempted murder and robbery charges.

Warren Fryer was arrested Monday afternoon on North Dixie Boulevard, according to official police records.

Authorities say that just before 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6., Fryer allegedly placed a handgun to the back of a victim's head. Police say Fryer took the victim's property, which included car keys and $35 in cash.

Police records say the victim ran away and Fryer then fired three shots. One of the shots hit the victim in the left thigh, causing a broken femur bone, according to police.

Fryer was identified by the victim in a photo line-up.

Officials say Fryer previously pleaded guilty in 2010 to a burglary charge.

In addition to the charges of attempted murder and robbery, Fryer is also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

The official arrest warrant states Fryer is being held on a $250,000 cash bond.
