LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Lemmans Conn, 42, died late Friday night in a motorcycle crash, the coroner released Sunday.

It happened in the area of 32nd and Market Streets just after 11:30 p.m., according to a MetroSafe dispatcher.

LMPD spokesperson Carey Klain says the crash involved a Dodge Intrepid and a motorcycle.

The motorcycle was traveling west behind the Dodge Intrepid on Market Street, according to Klain.

Officials say Conn tried to pass the Intrepid on the right as the car and motorcycle approached 32nd Street.

Klain says the motorcycle then hit the back of the Intrepid. Conn driver lost control, slid through the intersection and eventually came to a stop on the sidewalk.

Conn was taken to U of L Hospital and was later pronounced dead. He died of multiple blunt force injuries, and authorities say he was not wearing a helmet.

Police say the driver of the Dodge was checked out at the scene and was not taken to the hospital.
