One man dies after being shot by an officer in Hanover, Ind.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - One person is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Hanover, Ind., on Saturday.

Jefferson County, Ind., deputies were dispatched to County Road West just before 5 a.m. in reference to a domestic dispute.

Once they arrived, deputies got in a "confrontation" with John Unsworth, 43, of Hanover.

One of the deputies shot Unsworth at least once, and he died of his injuries.

Indiana State Police is investigating.
