Suspect tased, arrested after running through security checkpoint at Louisville airport
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was tased at the Louisville Airport Thursday after running through a security checkpoint.
David Patton, 36, is charged with possession of heroin, tampering with evidence, resisting arrest and other charges.
The FBI, TSA and LMPD are investigating. Metro Police say an officer on duty for the airport saw the man throw a package while running. She immediately caught and tased the suspect.
Patton will likely face federal charges. LMPD says he was being checked out to make sure he didn't ingest heroin.
