Louisville man arrested for multiple convenience store robberies

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man has been arrested and charged with several robberies of various convenience stores.

According to arrest reports, 27-year-old Robert C. Price is facing eight counts of first degree robbery.

Police say that on July 3, Price walked into the Circle K at 5000 Shepherdsville Road, armed with a handgun, and demanded business cash. After getting the cash, police say he fled the scene.

Police say that on July 14, Price entered the Speedy Mart at 10231 Blue Lick Road, armed with a handgun, and demanded business cash. After getting the cash, police say he fled the scene.

Police say that on July 25, Price walked into the Circle K at 4600 Wattbourne Lane, armed with a handgun, and demanded business cash. According to arrest reports, he took a donation jar and fled the scene.

Police say that on July 25, Price entered the Manslick Food Mart at 3700 Manslick Road, armed with a handgun, and demanded business cash before fleeing the scene.

Police say that on July 26, Price entered the Circle K at 5203 Greenwood Road and demanded business cash while armed with a handgun. According to the arrest report, the victim ran away, and Price fled the scene as well.

Police say that on Aug. 8, Price entered the Circle K located at 5203 Greenwood Road, armed with a handgun, and demanded business cash. He then got the cash and fled the scene, according to police.

Police say that on Aug. 11, Price entered the Circle K located at 7201 Fegenbush Lane an demanded business cash, while armed with a handgun. According to arrest reports, he fled after getting the cash.

On Aug. 17, police say Price entered the Sam's Food Mart located at 4060 Cane Run Road, armed with a handgun, and demanded business cash. Police say that when he obtained it, he ran away.

Price allegedly admitted to all of the above robberies when he was arrested on Saturday night. According to arrest reports, he was stopped on Seventh Street Road, near Wathen Lane, because he was in a car that had only one headlight. Police say there was also marijuana in the vehicle.

He is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
