Lexington Airman among two killed in Afghanistan

LOUISVILLE Ky. (WDRB) -- The Department of Defense confirms an Airman from Lexington, Kentucky was killed yesterday in Afghanistan.

Captain Matthew Roland, 27, of Lexington was killed when the vehicle he was traveling in was attacked near Camp Antonik, Afghanistan, according to Defense officials. Roland was assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron in Hurlburt Field, Florida. Staff Sgt. Forrest B. Sibley, 31, of Pensacola, Florida was killed in the attack.

Both men were supporting Operation Freedom's Sentinel
