Report ranks IU Southeast high for safety

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Indiana University Southeast is ranked the twelfth safest college campus in the country.

According to a report from HomeInsurance.com, the ranking comes partly from having no violent crimes in 2013.

Indiana University Southeast also scored high for safety in the FBI's report of crime incidents among more than 400 college campuses. The overall score comes from the amount of violent and property crime, as well as the walkability score of the city where a campus is located.
