Clarksville residents get an up-close look police cruisers, firetrucks at annual Touch-A-Truck event

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - You see them out driving on the road every day, but have you ever been inside?

Kids and adults in Clarksville had the chance Saturday to get up close and personal with limos, buses, military vehicles and mail trucks.

Some children also took a seat in a firetruck and sat behind the steering wheel of a police cruiser.

It was all part of the Touch-A-Truck and Community Yard Sale.

Organizers say it's the 17th year, and it just keeps on growing.

"Who doesn't love a giant truck where you push a button and scare everybody with the noises it makes?" said Ken Conklin with Clarksville Parks.

"You know, turn a big wheel, climb up a ladder ... Everyone just loves it, some of the adults look they're having more fun than the kids."

The Jeffersonville trolley was also there along with a food and desert truck.
