LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Southeast Christian Church has announced that it will expand and open a fifth campus.

Church Pastor Dave Stone made the announcement during church service on Sunday.

The new campus will be located in La Grange at the former Oldham Theater.

"God has blessed Southeast Christian Church's direction to expand beyond the initial Blankebaker Campus to reach different communities with the church's mission of connecting people to Jesus and one another," Stone said.

The new campus will be 27,000 square feet with an 850-seat sanctuary inside. It will also have additional space for classrooms.

Southeast Christian's four current campus are on Blankenbaker Parkway, Crestwood Station Road in Oldham County, Charlestown New Albany Road in southern Indiana and on St. Andrews Church Road in Louisville.

It is expected to open in the Fall of 2016.
