LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – The Louisville Bats dropped their third straight game Sunday, falling to the Columbus Clippers 7-6 in 11 innings.
Adam Moore’s RBI single off Jose De La Torre scored in the game's winning run in the bottom of the 11th. De La Torre picked up the loss, dropping to 6-5 this season.
The Louisville offense did all it could Sunday, collecting 16 hits in the loss. Six different Bats collected two or more hits in the series finale against the Clippers.
The Bats now turn their attention to the Toledo Mud Hens for a four-game series starting Monday. It’s their final games on the road this season. Louisville will return to Slugger Field Friday and will wrap up its season Monday against Indianapolis.
