Yang Kee Noodle to open in old KFC Eleven location
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Yang Kee Noodle has announced it will be opening a third location in the old KFC Eleven building on Bardstown Road in the Highlands.
“We couldn’t be more excited to be moving into this iconic location that is viewed by so many Louisvillians as the gateway to the Highlands,” said Dan Huckestein, Operating Partner for Yang Kee Noodle. “We think our local Pan-Asian concept featuring bold, exotic flavors will be a great fit for the neighborhood.”
Yang Kee Noodle got off the ground more than a decade ago at Oxmoor Center in 2003. The company opened a second location in MIddletown Commons on Shelbyville Road earlier this year.
A locally owned and operated concept, Yang Kee Noodle was inspired by the traditional noodle houses found throughout eastern Asia including Thailand, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and China.
Guests can create-their-own stir-fry dishes, mix and match flavors, ingredients and sauces.
The menu was developed by chef and Yang Kee Noodle partner John D. Castro.
Construction on the Highlands Yang Kee Noodle location is expected to start next month.
