LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Utility crews repaired a gas line that broke in Jeffersonville Thursday morning.

A construction crew hit the gas line around 10 a.m. on East Market Street near Graham Street. Crews say the leak was small, but they still took precautionary measures.

"We did evacuate two homes here and the Howard Steamboat Museum," said Phill Lovan of the Jeffersonville Fire Department. "And we blocked off the traffic from this area."

The gas line was repaired around noon, and people were allowed back into their homes and into area businesses.

No one was hurt.
