LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police say they have arrested a man after he attacked an ATM with a cinder block.

According to an arrest report, the incident took place on Wednesday, Sept. 9, just before 2:30 a.m. at an ATM at the PNC Bank on Dixie Highway, near Rockford Lane.

Police say 33-year-old Charles Millay admitted that he got angry because the ATM wasn't working, so he grabbed a cinder block and began bashing the ATM.

His actions caused $8,740.33 in estimated damage, according to an arrest report.

Police arrested him two days later, on Friday, Sept. 11, after someone reported that they had seen a person matching Millay's description.

Millay was charged with first degree criminal mischief.
