New Albany-Floyd County school board to vote on whether to give students drug tests

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The New Albany-Floyd County school board is expected to vote Monday night on testing students for drugs.

The proposal would require that students be tested for drugs if the school has "reasonable suspicion" the student is under the influence of drugs.

If the board passes the proposal, it would immediately go into effect.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Education Support Center on Grant Line Road.
