Student arrested for bringing knife to Iroquois High School

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 16-year-old student was arrested at Iroquois High School for bringing a knife to school Monday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police. 

LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said the female student targeted a 17-year-old student, but no one was hurt. JCPS spokesperson Bonnie Hackbarth said the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday morning.

The suspect was taken to Louisville Metro Youth Detention Center. She's charged with terroristic threatening, menacing and unlawful possession of a weapon on school property.
