LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The town of Sellersburg's Mosquito surveillance program detected the West Nile virus in a mosquito during a random test.

As a result, the town will now implement a mosquito control program.

Residents are asked to make sure there is no standing water in their yards where mosquitoes could harbor.

All of Sellersburg will undergo fogging from Sept. 15-17.

The city will be monitoring to see if additional fogging is necessary.
