LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Harleys and other motorcycles revved their engines Saturday, riding for a good cause.

"The most exciting this about it is it's just big," said Bill Lamb, President and General Manager of WDRB Media. "There are a lot of people, and when there are a lot of bikers around it's fun."

Lamb joined more than 400 others for WDRB's 13th annual Thunder into Louisville Patriot Ride and Poker Run.

The ride started at Harley-Davidson Louisville near I-65.

It included prizes and raffle drawings, all bringing in money for the Louisville chapter of the Boy Scouts of America.

"I grew up in Boy Scouts so, I mean, it means a whole lot to me," Jeff Toby said. "It's a personal thing. I was in Boy Scouts for about 12 1/2 years, so I was interested in getting involved and helping out with this."

The event raised more than $10,000 for the Boy Scouts of America.
