LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Louisville City FC will go into the postseason in the middle of their worst slump of the season.
Louisville lost its final game of the regular season Saturday 2-1 to Saint Louis FC. It was the team’s fourth loss in five games. Matt Fondy scored his 22nd goal of the season in a losing effort on the road.
Louisville opens up the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. They’ll begin playoff action on Oct. 3 in a conference semi-final matchup against the winner of a first-round matchup between Charleston and Richmond.
