LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, man has been arrested after he planned to meet an undercover investigator for sex acts, thinking that investigator was a 15-year-old girl, according to an arrest report.

Authorities say that 29-year-old Bruce Meece, an Anderson County volunteer firefighter, "responded to an undercover investigator over the Internet and telecom network," and "requested to engage in numerous sex acts with the undercover persona after being advised repeatedly that the undercover persona was a 15-year-old female."

According to the arrest report, both Meece and the undercover investigator were located inside the Commonwealth of Kentucky when the communication took place.

Investigators eventually confronted Meece, and he allegedly admitted to "having a sexually explicit conversation with the undercover persona."

Meece was arrested by the Kentucky Attorney General's Office. He is currently charged with the Prohibited Use of an Electronic Communications System to Procure a Minor or Peace Officer for Sex Offenses.

He is currently being held in the Franklin County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond, according to online jail records.
