LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – Western Kentucky head coach Jeff Brohm wasn’t surprised. His team, as he expected does not like the taste of defeat.
“I think all of our guys are on edge,” said Brohm. “We understand that we need to play better to win.”
The Hilltoppers (2-1) know they did not play their best in a week three to Indiana. They look to right their wrongs against Miami (1-2) Saturday at L.T. Smith Stadium.
The RedHawks were picked to finish second to last in the MAC East Division preseason polls. They have lost two straight coming in Saturday. Despite their struggles, Brohm knows his Hilltoppers are going to have to bring their best.
“It doesn’t matter who we play,” said Brohm Thursday as his team wrapped up final preparations for Saturday’s game. “We have to be able to play 60 minutes of good football on offense, defense and special teams.”
Kickoff is set for 3:30PM ET Saturday.
