LOUISVILLE, Ky.(WDRB) -- Police say they have arrested a man who allegedly robbed a bank Thursday afternoon.

According to an arrest report, it happened around 2:30 p.m. at the Stock Yards Bank at 1000 Will Way in the Cedar Springs Shopping Center near the Gene Snyder Freeway. Police say 21-year-old Trevor Stevers entered the bank and gave the teller a note demanding money. After receiving the cash, police say Stevers left the bank in a 2001 Chevrolet with Illinois plates.

A detective who saw Stevers run from the bank stopped the car. Police say Stevers had a knife in his pocket.

Stevers is charged with one count of first degree robbery. He's being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $25,000 cash bond.
