LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have released the name of a woman who died on Friday following a house fire in Newburg.

Selena Baker, 54, died just before 10 p.m. Friday at University Hospital, according to Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Bob Jones. He told WDRB the cause of death was due to burns and smoke inhalation.

Dispatchers say the fire happened near the corner of Garden Green and Lively Court, which is near Newburg Middle School.

Officials say Baker was the only person in the home. She was found in a back room.
