LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) – The Indiana Hoosiers are 4-0 for the first time in a quarter century.
The Hoosiers survived a close call at Wake Forest (2-2, 1-1 home) Saturday, winning 31-24. Indiana (4-0, 1-0 away) nearly squandered a 21-point second half lead in the final six and half minutes of the game.
Indiana cornerback Rashard Fant denied the game-tying touchdown, breaking up a pass in the IU endzone with just over a minute left in the fourth quarter.
Nate Sudfeld led the way offensively for the Hoosiers, throwing for 205 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The Hoosiers will now turn their attention to a home game next Saturday against the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
