LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man authorities say threatened to set off several bombs.

Benjamin Fullmer, 25, was arrested Friday afternoon in the 1000 block of South Jackson Street, near East Kentucky Street. Police say Fullmer allegedly sent two emails stating that if all JCPS schools were not evacuated, "he would detonate several bombs he had placed around the city."

Authorities say Fullmer admitted to the offense when he spoke with detectives.

Officials say Fullmer also admitted to detectives that he hid the device he had used to send the emails.

He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections and is charged with terroristic threatening and tampering with physical evidence.
