BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WDRB) -- Rolling roadblocks will be in place beginning this week on Interstate 65 stretching from the Tennessee State Line (Mile marker 0) to the Barren/Hart County Line (mile marker 54).

That's according to a news release from the Ky. Transportation Cabinet.

The rolling roadblocks will begin tonight (Sept. 28) and continue for about a week from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. each day.

The rolling roadblocks are being done so Reynolds Striping can work on replacing and repairing pavement markers. The crews will start on the northbound side at mile marker 0 and work north until about mile marker 54. Once northbound is complete, the crews will work their way southbound back to the Tennessee State Line.

Kentucky State Police will be present during these roadblocks.

Motorists are urged to use caution and be aware of the work going on the interstate.
